Located on Baner-Pashan link road, this tiny little place is equally lit up in the evening. Ambience is too good with wooden furniture and yellow lights. It gives a very cozy feeling to this bistro in the evening. All the dishes are absolutely delicious. The one thing I LOVED here was the hot chocolate- super delicious, super yummy and absolutely thick. I’m sure you’ll love it too!
We ordered a Chef's recommended Peri Peri Chicken Sandwich, along with Garlic Bread, Mocha, Hot Chocolate, and Fries at this cafe. The food quality unquestionably impressed us. However, the total bill amounted to Rs. 1100. While the food was excellent, the atmosphere of the cafe left much to be desired. The seating arrangements were quite basic, and the lighting was so unremarkable that it barely left an impression. Additionally, it's worth noting that the cafe lacked its own parking, but we easily found a parking spot on Baner Pashan Link Road. In summary, while the cafe's culinary offerings were top-notch, there is room for improvement in the ambiance to make it a more enjoyable dining experience.
Original Bistro was on my bucket list for a long time as they have very nice reviews from customers. So i went there to try their signature breakfast dishes. Panini sandwiches & stuffed omelette with different styles of preparation is their speciality. i tried both and i really like both dishes. They have unique preparation of food which makes them unique among other cafes. Definitely this is one of the best Bistro for English breakfast lovers to try. I would like to visit again to try their other dishes. Seating is quite simple, nothing very special like thematic. At that time it was raining and the floor was completely wet, also the chairs were not that comfortable. so I felt that it was average in comfort. In short, the food was awesome, fresh and unique. Each dish quantity is sufficient for a person if alone. The deep dish pizza are strictly for 2 people or more. It seems small but is very heavy and has a inch of filling. We ordered Pancakes, lasagne, tripple decker grilled cheese sandwich, Spinach panini, and deep dish pizza. We went as a group of 4 (very hungry adults with 2 children) with the intention to try something new and we were blown away by the taste. Lasagne was one of the best we had ever had with the bread being just the right amount of crispness. Many other places either give bread that is more like toast or too soft to be enjoyed properly with lasagne. This was also the dish that both kids loved. Spinach panini was also delicious with lots of mushroom and savoury sauces. You can choose between french fries and salad, and we chose salad which was lettuce and olives with sauces. Tripple decker sandwich with french fries was the order placed specifically for the kids. But, we ended up eating most of it since it was so good. It's very filling, so your kid would probably have 2 cut piece at most leaving 2 more for you. Both pancakes, blueberry and banana, were also good. However I am not a pancake fan so not much to say from me. My wife and other couple loved them with the blueberry sauce and honey being provided seperately so that you can have it as per your taste. Pancakes are more of an acquired taste so you can order 1 and then order more if you are not sure. Also ordered was piri piri chicken omlette and moccha and latte. Both were awesome, but we too engrossed in enjoying our dishes that we forgot to take the pics 😁. Special mention - omlette were with chicken filling and salad. That was one more unique way of having an omlette which I loved. Overall, I have bookmarked this place and would love to visit whenever I need to have something unique. The food was really satisfying. Staff’s service was just good enough. However, all the seats were outside and could not block the hot weather perfectly. But taste of food was delicious, we could forget about it. Definitely visit again soon.

We visited Origin Bistro around 3 PM for a late lunch and had a really good experience. We started with drinks: lemon iced tea and basil mint mojito. Both were refreshing and full of flavor. For food, we ordered a pizza and french fries. The pizza was fresh, cheesy, and perfectly baked. The base wasn’t overly crusty and had a nice balance of softness and crisp. The fries were crispy and nicely done too. The service was smooth, the ambience was relaxed and welcoming, and the best part it wasn’t too crowded, even in the afternoon. Overall, a great place to enjoy good food in a calm setting. Definitely recommend Origin Bistro if you're looking for a quiet spot with great taste.
Great brunch spot in Baner-Pashan! We visited Origin Bistro (Baner Pashan Link Road) for brunch and loved the experience. The Peri Peri Omelette, Blueberry Pancakes, and Mushroom Spinach Broccoli Panini are absolute must-tries! We also ordered the Veg Pizza, OB Breakfast Combo, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, and Coffee—everything was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. Service was friendly, and the place wasn’t crowded when we went. Seating is decent and comfy. Only downside was a few flies around, but honestly, the food quality more than made up for it. Prices are quite reasonable—great value for money. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
Best continental restaurant in Baner and Pashan. The food is lovingly prepared and the portions are adequate, the presentation is impeccable, and the flavours are delectable! My current favourite is the Peri Peri Grilled Chicken Gravy Large Plate that is served with Butter Parsley Rice and a side of veggies in garlic butter. There are a few areas of improvement, though. On many occasions, we have noticed rats roaming about, especially around the hand wash area. Since a single wall separates it from the kitchen, it makes for a ghastly sight. During our last visit, we noticed that despite us being the only patrons dining, the orders took longer than expected to arrive at the table. The smoke emanating from the smoking area seating was often a huge put off, especially since my wife is allergic to it and our children were also coughing despite us seated right next to the Dossai side of the restaurant. Something needs to be done about it. Maybe install an exhaust fan that flushes the cigarette stench outside on the other side of the restaurant. A note to the Head Chef/Owner: Sir, it is not a comfortable feeling to watch you yell and reprimand your staff in front of guests. Even seated away from your kitchen we could hear you scolding them, which made us uncomfortable. Your restaurant is one of our favourite dining places and wish our experience is better and better every time we visit, instead of the other way around. Your menu is lipsmacking, and we aim to try a new dish each time we visit, and are yet to be disappointed by a single dish up until now. Keep it up on that part!
